Back on April 28 I went out onto the deck and saw the sage was trying to come back to life. We had a lot of snow this last winter and I thought the sage was a goner. But it started to sprout with unhealthy grey looking leaves. So I decided to do an experiment. I placed Vermicompost on top of the old compost I used to plant it last year. i also trimmed the sage to where it can thrive. I will update the experiment every month through the summer.
