Windrow

Back in April when I dug into the worm pit I placed all of the straw and leaves on top of a tarp. I just set it to the side and left it alone. About a month ago I dug into it just to see if there were any red wigglers in it. There were so I moved it under a tree where I knew there would be a good amount of shade she they were not in the sun all day.

This is the plan I have right now. I am going to let it sit as an outside windrow and let them breed until october. they have plenty to munch on in there with all of the leaves and straw they will have plenty to eat for a very long time.
